Things I hate (part one)
You get on a plane going to or from your chosen holiday destination and about 1/3 of the male (and often a number of female) passengers are wearing football shirts- in my recent trips case- Celtic or Rangers.
Why?
What possible benefit do these to$$ers really think its going to give them? What is the point? Do they think half the plane is going to come over and say- wow your really cool. Cos the other half is just as likely to say- look at that knob in a Celtic/ Rangers strip- because they support the other team.
Do they think that they will get less hassle from taxis/baggage handlers by wearing one. “Sir sir, I will take your baggage, I speak very very good hinglish- , Me Celtic/ Me Rangers, very good friend, very good for tourist…..”
Honestly- have they nothing else in their wardrobe? Do they have clothes like Shaggy- only a load of green shirts and brown trousers except in this case- Celtic or Rangers shirts- probably one for each year.
Do they want to offend someone in the check in queue by wearing a shirt they know a sizeable percentage of the other passengers will hate? If you want to offend people do it right- by flying from Edinburgh when you come from Glasgow- or vice versa and wearing a shirt that says- East Coasters are all Gay. At least you will have a consistent result. Everyone will hate you!

Bit the bullet- bought a Bravia X series
The new KDL40W2000U is out now and went to look at one. Very nice it is too. The local dealer though was wanting a full £2K (with a “free” 5 year warranty).
Looking on the net there are quite a few places doing it for £2640 ish (with no extra warranty). I can get a free two year extended warranty with my banking arrangements through Royalties so thought having 3 years would be a good compromise of security over price.
I have also seen the X series bravia- the Sony Bravia KDL40X2000U this is a beaut but costs a whopping £1000 more. I did not reckon the nicer styling and arguably better build quality warranted an extra grand, (you see them for £2200 on the net ,mind) so the W it was to be…. until tonight, I happened to be browsing Dabs.com and noticed they had a Sony shop so decided to see if they had the W and how much.
“unfortunately” they don’t have it yet but they did have the KDL40X2000U… at £2000, this is by far the cheapest I have seen so tempted went to check it out further. It turned out that in my Dabs account I have a £75 e-vouchar on purchases over £1K so manged to get the Sony KDL40X2000 for roughly £1950 inc VAT and delivery!
Wooo hooo. So its ordered and coming- should be the dogs danglies!.
Only in PC games? repeater shotgun!
I am no gun nut though do like shooter PC games. I came accross this on google video that seems to turn the type of shotguns you get in PC games into reality…… wah.
